They brought back the China trip, complete with subsidized accommodations. So all I need to come up with is the flight and the incidental expenses and boom! Ten days in China.
If things work out well, then it will be entirely possible for me to go.
Also, I just redeemed my points for my participation in the MBA games in Toronto. Decided to take an extra day to give myself the opportunity to visit my sister there. Hopefully she’s free that day. Sure, it means a six hour layover in yyc from 1am to 6am, but hey, it’s worth it to see how she and her family are doing.
It’s a bit risky, combined with going to the Philippines, but at least there’s a path. At least there are possibilities. And I hope things pan out.
