Waking up early has to be one of the most important things that I’m striving to do. It’s been difficult, but oh so worth it. The corollary for that is the importance of going to bed early.
I’ve gotten in more reading and more learning time because of waking just a couple more hours earlier in the day, and I feel a lot more at ease with myself. And reading more has brought me to think more about my goals in life and what I want to accomplish. Taking the time to reflect without interruption can be one of the most therapeutic things you can ever do.
On another note, it’s interesting how when there’s something that Nicolas is excited about for the next day (sports day for example) he wakes up super early. Hee hee… I was the same way too.
