I’m trying to be brave. Really I am. But when you receive news of an event that alters your plans so radically… sometimes it can be very tough to swallow. Nevertheless, I see the blessing that comes out of it, and how my choices over the past year have prepared me for this event.
Really, there is no substitute for the Spirit, and the hand of the Lord in your life. If it hadn’t been for that direction, I’m sure that it would have been a lot tougher for me to swallow the news. I am so greatful for that Hand in my life.
But still, it’s hard to accept. We’re trying. And we’ll endure this well, just as we have endured the other challenges in life.
