Carry on.

Reality Check

I have a big goal to get a JD / MBA degree, but reality sinks in; I NEED TO GET MY BACHELOR’S FIRST!

One of the greatest things that we can have in our lives are lofty goals – even if they seem like diamond dreams or pies in the sky at the time. They help us excel. They help us achieve. But Albus Dumbledore said it best: “It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live.” (ed. My friend David quotes John Donne in his emails. I quote Harry Potter Characters!)

Which brings me to my current plate – graduating from my Bachelors with the marks, skills and intellect needed to get to the big B school. Right now, I have a people management project which is still waiting to get off the ground. Two of the team members haven’t submitted their portions of the project, and I can’t get my part done until they hand it in. I guess it’s like business… It pays to get good partners who you know will follow through with the program and get their work done. I’m not panicking… yet. The project isn’t due for another week. But it would be nice to have some security!

Reality Check. I need to get an A average if I have any hope in getting into the program that I want. I can’t slack off now.

That’s wonderful! You should always have goals in your life, they drive you… otherwise you’ll waste your life away. It’s also never too late to start a degree; we should always strive to learn more in our life, we’ll wither away if we lost the will to learn & experience new things in life.

Wow! That’s a big goal indeed, but we should always have goals in our lives. Goals are what drive me! We should also never stop learning either. There are so many things I want to learn about, I just don’t understand people who complains about being bored.
