Carry on.

Not bad… Off to the next term

I received my grades and I got an A- in Organizational Behavior, B in Marketing and B- in Chinese. I’m happy with the marks, considering I took a week off during the term.

This term, I’m taking Quantitative Methods, Business Law and Chinese II. My goal? One A, and two B+’s.

I’m really looking forward to this term, now that I’m a little bit more used to going to class. If this keeps up, I’m strongly considering transferring to UBC or SFU after I get my diploma. It’s more expensive, but hopefully, I’ll have the marks for it and our finances will be in much better shape by then.

Right now, the only thing on my mind is just getting our life in order. I owe it to my wife and son to do even better than I have before. I can’t afford to waste this time I’ve been given. Not everyone gets a second chance. Thanks to mom and dad, I have the second chance to make something of myself. I can’t let frivilous things get in the way.

I know I sound like a broken record. At times, I think it’s just me trying to program myself to be in the right frame of mind. But I need that. Not everyone can coach me all the time. I need to coach myself.
