Carry on.

I have a lot to look forward to.

There are so many things that I have to look forward to. The funny thing is that I haven’t really realized it until just now. Sometimes time passes by so quickly that you quickly forget the good things you have to look forward to. What a pity it is to not take advantage of the excitement that you can develop while waiting for those events. All of a sudden the great event comes and the opportunity is lost.

Anyway, next week I am about to start school for the very first time in a long time. Not the online thing… but actually classes, actual professors, actual classmates. God has blessed me with another chance to make something of myself – something that doesn’t happen every day.

Hmmmm…. Not true… The more that I think about it, everday God gives us a new day to make something better of ourselves. Will we take that day and not waste it? I am not proud to say that there have been many days in my life lately where I have not taken advantage of the opportunity He has given me. I hope now that I will live each day knowing that I’ve become a little bit better and a little bit more like the man He is hoping I can be.

Another thing that I am looking forward to…. Evelyn, Nico and I are going to Hawaii!!! Woohoo! The tickets have been purchased, the cabin is rented and the car is booked. Holidays are reserved too so I don’t think anything will be in the way! I’m looking forward to the Luaus, the wedding (My cousin Hermilynn), the beautiful sights and to sit in a beach with my loving wife.

This July, we will be going to Tofino!

I have decided to make my own Gentoo box. -> It’ll be hard but at least I’ll get into the blood and guts of this thing we call Linux. I’ll also port the web servers over to the Gentoo box so we can turn off the computer in the Living room.

I really need to read my scriptures more. These entries have been too worldly for my liking.
